Las relaciones son fabulosas, los matrimonios son maravillosos, pero la realidad es que son temporales. En cambio tu relación contigo mismo es eterna. Dura para siempre. Ama a la familia que llevas dentro: el niño o la niña, el padre o la madre, y la adolescente y el joven que hay en medio.

Recuerda que también llevas a tu adolescente en tu interior. Dale la bienvenida. Trabaja con él de la misma forma que lo haces con el niño. ¿Qué dificultades tuviste en tu adolescencia? Hazle preguntas a tu adolescente igual como se las haces a tu niño. Ayúdale a pasar por las
amedrentadoras situaciones y los momentos de aprensión de la pubertad. «Corrige» esa época. Aprende a amar a tu adolescente igual como aprendes a amar a tu niño.

No podemos amarnos y aceptarnos los unos a los otros mientras no amemos y aceptemos a ese niño-a interior que se siente perdido-a. ¿Qué edad tiene ese niño? ¿Tres, cuatro, cinco años? Generalmente tiene menos de cinco años, porque es entonces cuando se cierra y se desconecta por la necesidad de sobrevivir.

Coge a tu niño-a de la mano y ámalo. Crea una vida maravillosa para ti y tu niño-a. Di: «Estoy dispuesto a aprender a amar a mi niño. Estoy dispuesto». El Universo contestará. Encontrará la forma de curar a tu niño y también de curarte a ti. Si deseamos sanar, tenemos que estar dispuestos a experimentar nuestros sentimientos y a pasar a través de ellos hacia el otro lado y conseguir así la curación. Recuerda, nuestro Poder Superior está siempre disponible para apoyarnos y alentar nuestros esfuerzos.

Fuera como fuese tu primera infancia, buena o mala, tú y únicamente tú estás ahora a cargo de tu vida. Te puedes pasar toda la vida culpando a tus padres y al entorno, pero lo único que conseguirás con eso es mantenerte estancado en hábitos de víctima. Jamás te servirá para conseguir el bien que dices desear.

El amor es la mejor goma de borrar que conozco. El amor borra hasta los recuerdos más dolorosos y profundos, porque penetra más al fondo que ninguna otra cosa. Si tus imágenes mentales del pasado son muy fuertes y te pasas la vida afirmando «Todo es culpa de ellos», te quedarás estancado. ¿Deseas una vida de dolor o una vida de alegría? La elección y el poder están siempre dentro de ti.

Mírate a los ojos, y ámate y ama a tu niño interior.
